01
Application Materials
Prior to obtaining TruShield certification, companies will receive a program package and a certification contract detailing program requirements and logo usage guidelines. As part of the application process, member companies are required to submit product labels for logo approval. Importantly, the sale of products bearing the TruShield logo is not permitted until all certification steps are successfully completed.
02
Sample Request
To ensure product safety, a minimum of three-finished product samples from each batch/lot are submitted to TruShield's ISO17025 experienced lab for WADA prohibited substance testing. An additional sample from each batch is retained by our lab for secure storage.
03
Product Testing
Each production batch/lot will be tested to ensure they are free from 400+ WADA's banned substances. Our scientists will continue to integrate WADA banned substances on the cutting edge of antidoping compliance. The testing process involves commercially available products, and the results must not indicate any contamination within the WADA prohibited substance list.
04
Test Results
After testing is completed, detailed reports summarizing the analysis of each batch/lot will be provided to member companies. These results confirm compliance with the TruShield program's standards and WADA's prohibited substance list. Companies can reference these reports to demonstrate product integrity and safety. Test results will also be accessible to consumers via the TruShield website, ensuring transparency and building trust with athletes, sports organizations, and the public.
05
Trushield certification
After completion of the certification process, the TruShield mark can be shown on the product label. Every batch/lot tested will be displayed on the TruShield website. TruShield is recognized and respected by major sports organizations.
